Battle Vests
One of my favourite elements of heavy metal culture is making battle jackets and battle vests. Sometimes leather but mostly denim, they are jackets or vests that you cover in sew on patches and pins etc.
Well, I say that making them is something I love, what I really like is owing them and shopping for different patches. I unfortunately cannot sew. They did try to teach me to sew in school but I was too busy trying to impress a girl I liked. She married me though and now she sews them on for me so it all worked out!
I have had two previous jackets/vests that I don’t really wear anymore. I still like them but tastes change. I also got better at shopping and finding more underground bands that I like so the current one I’m rocking is a better display of my tastes.
